Table top chain goes up and down when it goes into the
driver sprocket or leaves the tail sprocket due to chordal
action. Therefore, sprocket should be a little bit higher
up and the highest point of sprocket should not be higher
than the wear strip (rail) where the chain passes. Otherwise,
the chain would deviate from the carry way. Sprocket
shaft¡¯s and wear strip¡¯s height should be same as the
height of B¡±. If that¡¯s not the case, then the wear
strip end part should be tilted. |
